The girls were in action mode from the very start. They paired up before the warm-up began. Some giggled nervously, while others tied their hair with quiet focus. After the warm-up, the atmosphere became more serious as we prepared to defend.
We started with a simple drill: one girl reached out to grab, and the other responded with a practiced block and counterattack. The initial attempts were hesitant, with laughter, missed cues, and questions. However, the movements soon became sharper, faster, and more instinctive.
Next, the girls switched roles, allowing each to experience both attacking and defending. Each pair developed its own rhythm.
By the fourth attempt, even those who struggled initially were defending confidently, with firm stances and focused attention. The energy in the room was electric. These repetitions are refining their technique, and I am confident the girls will soon recognize the strength they already possess.
