Following a wonderful meeting with the Principal of Bal Vinay Mandir School of Excellence, we are excited to announce that DFEND sessions will soon commence for all the girls of the school. The discussion was filled with enthusiasm and a shared vision of empowering students through awareness and self-defense.
What stood out most was Principal Ma’am’s valuable insight. She emphasized the importance of extending such sessions to boys as well, helping them understand respect, boundaries, and safety from a broader perspective.
This thoughtful exchange reinforced our conviction that genuine change starts when both girls and boys are included in the conversation. Maybe we should include a few counselling sessions for boys?
