Dfend is currently operating out of Indore, focused on Government schools in Indore. The imact and feedback so far has been overwhelming – we are truly proud of the model we’ve built and the difference we are able to make on the ground with very limited resources
It has taken a lot of hard-work to convince all the stakeholders involved in Dfend : Schools (through government machinary), Trainers (through Karate Associations), Volunteers (through private schools & colleges), and most importantly – Corporates who are willing to fund this initiative.
We do believe that we should be able to replicate Dfend model in other locations also. We already have good trustability in the system to be able to get more Corporate sponsorships in various cities, so funding shouldn’t be a challenge.
We’ll also be able to get Trainers in other locations across India. We have the standardized Program design and content.
